You wouldn't think that dog sledding would be a hidden gem in the arctic, but it's surprising hard to find an operational team and a capable operator these days. So when I read in Up Here Magazine about the crew in Repulse Bay - good dogs and stunning surroundings to explore - I kept it in the back of my mind. Well, this past week I capitalized on the opportunity and turned a business trip into an adventure on the icy tundra. I convinced the consultant and a couple of psychiatrists who were in town for a week to slip out for a few hours and join in. They froze solid in their city boots but we all had a blast.
